TWO KILLED IN WEEKEND ACCIDENTS

At least two people have died in traffic accidents on Missouri roads this weekend in Southeast Missouri.

Terry K. Oxley, 48, of Jackson was killed Friday evening in Cape Girardeau County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said. Oxley's car left County Road 349 about five miles west of Jackson and struck a tree.

Harold H. Hester, 52, of Malden died Friday night in a Stoddard County crash.

The patrol said Hester, a volunteer fireman responding to a fire, died when his pickup truck left ice-covered Missouri 25 two miles south of Bernie, overturning and striking a utility pole.
