Two juveniles were in custody Thursday following an alleged armed robbery in Cape Girardeau, in which police said a handgun was pulled during an argument. A call to the Cape Girardeau Police Department came in shortly after 2 p.m., with a report of a robbery at a carwash near Park and William streets, said police spokesman Darin Hickey. Two young men told police they were supposed to meet the suspects at the carwash, Hickey said, but they began arguing after the suspects arrived. One of the suspects pulled a handgun and stole some property, Hickey said, and the two suspects fled the scene. Within a manner of minutes, two juveniles were taken into custody at a residence near the corner of William Street and South West End Boulevard and referred to the juvenile authorities, Hickey said. Hickey said he was not certain what property was taken.
