Two Jackson men were injured when their vehicle overturned and slid across Interstate 55 in Perry County late Thursday evening. Driver Trent Forester, 22, received moderate injuries, and Daniel Forester, 19, received serious injuries. Both wore seat belts, and were taken by Perry County Ambulance to Perry County Memorial Hospital. According the the Missouri Highway Patrol of Poplar Bluff, the accident occurred at the 139 mile marker when the 2000 Ford Explorer slid into the median and overturned, traveled across the northbound lane down an embankment and struck a tree.
