Missouri Department of Transportation crews plan to replace existing bulbs with new 12-inch light-emitting diodes. MoDOT officials said the diodes only have to be replaced once every seven years and use less electricity.

The work will be done from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., beginning Sunday and running through Wednesday evening. The work will be done at night to minimize the inconvenience to motorists, MoDOT officials said.
