A traffic incident Friday on Route M in Bollinger County injured two Marble Hill residents, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

The accident, which occurred at 3:05 p.m., 8 miles west of Scopus, Mo., injured Kyle Long, 18, and Clayton Luttrull, 26.

Long and Luttrull both were taken to St. Francis Medical Center for treatment. Long remained hospitalized Saturday night in stable condition.

The accident occurred when Long's eastbound vehicle ran off the right side of the road on a curve and came back across the road into the path of a vehicle driven by Luttrull, the patrol said. Long was ejected in the collision.
