Two Southeast Missouri men were indicted on charges of bank robbery Thursday, an assistant U.S. attorney said.
Myron Lee Tillman, 23, was indicted for bank robbery and using a firearm during a crime. Hosea Laverne Williams, 25, was indicted for bank robbery.
The two men, both of Howardville, Mo., are accused of robbing the Bank of New Madrid in Lilbourn, Mo., of about $5,800 on Feb. 23.
A jury trial for both defendants is scheduled for May 29.
If found guilty, Williams will face a maximum of 25 years in prison while Tillman could face a maximum of life in prison.
