TWO HURT IN CRASH AT PATTON

PATTON -- Two people were injured in a motor vehicle accident near Patton Saturday.

Brenda Valenzula, 52, of Reseda, Calif., was treated at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau and released. Also treated and released was a passenger in Valenzula's vehicle, Jamie Hill, 7, of Reseda.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, the accident happened at 11:20 a.m. at the junction of highways 51 and 72.

Valenzula failed to stop at a stop sign and hit a car driven by Gregory Montgomery, 23, of Potosi. He wasn't injured.
