Hunze is the daughter of Diane Hunze of Cape Girardeau and Jay O. Hunze of Naperville, Ill.

Reimann is a 1986 graduate of Cape Central High School. She attended Southeast Missouri State University on a Governor's Scholarship and graduated magna cum laude in 1990.

During her four-year career as a medical student, Reimann participated in the American Medical Women's Association, attending a national conference in Dallas in 1992. She received the George W.
