Two people were arrested Thursday in Scott County and charged with spotlighting deer following a night patrol by the Missouri Department of Conservation. Following the arrests, conservation agents said, the subjects admitted trying to locate and poach deer as well as taking a raccoon out of season.
A night patrol in Dunklin County on Tuesday led to the arrest of one subject on suspicion of spotlighting and attempting to take a deer out of season with a firearm.
Additional spotlighting arrests were made earlier this week following a night patrol in New Madrid County.
