Two-car accident sends Jackson woman to the hospital
A Jackson woman received moderate injuries following a two-car accident Sunday afternoon. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 2003 Toyota driven by Linda M. Ronsick, 49, was slowing to make a right turn when it was struck in the rear by the 2001 Chevrolet driven by Mattie J. Wilhite, 19, of Old Appleton. The accident occurred on Highway 61, two miles north of Fruitland at 4:35 p.m...

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the 2003 Toyota driven by Linda M. Ronsick, 49, was slowing to make a right turn when it was struck in the rear by the 2001 Chevrolet driven by Mattie J. Wilhite, 19, of Old Appleton. The accident occurred on Highway 61, two miles north of Fruitland at 4:35 p.m.
Ronsick was taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. Wilhite was not injured. Both were wearing seat belts.
