Two badly hurt in Scott County motorcycle wreck

The driver of a motorcycle and his passenger were taken to a hospital with serious injuries after a crash late Friday night in a parking lot along Highway 77 in Scott County.

Larry G. Harwell, 52, of Anniston, Mo., who was driving the motorcycle, and Lorie L. Poe, 37, also of Anniston, were taken by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center after the motorcycle ran off the road and hit a utility pole around 11:30 p.m., according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report. Charges are pending, according to the report.
