TWO ATTEND FAMILY CONFERENCE

JACKSON -- Mary Klaproth, county president of Wonderworkers, and Margie Reisenbichler, president-elected of the Town & Country Club, recently returned from the annual conference of the Missouri Association for Family and Community Education Inc. in Jefferson City.

The theme was "Touching the Future." Workshops were conducted focusing on various topics, including literacy, the environment, family health and consumer fraud.

The Missouri Association for Family and Community Education is a grass-roots volunteer organization committed to strengthening families and individuals through continuing education, leadership development and community service. There are nearly 3,000 members in the state.
