Two Cape Girardeau men are in custody and another is at large after shots were fired in the city Sunday night.
Dejuan McClung, 25, and Tyran Marks, 26, were arrested after residents in the 300 block of North Fountain Street told police they heard gunshots and saw three men in the area, police spokesman Darin Hickey said. A man fled the scene when police arrived, Hickey said. A firearm was found near where the two suspects were arrested.
McClung is charged with disturbing the peace and resisting arrest and is being held in the Cape Girardeau County Jail on a $2,500 bond. Marks is charged with illegal possession of a firearm and resisting arrest and is being held at county jail on a $15,000 cash-only bond.
