TWO ARE INJURED IN SEPARATE ACCIDENTS

A Cape Girardeau man suffered minor injuries Thursday after the vehicle in which he was riding ran off the road near Oriole.

The injured man, Steven Medlin, 20, was a passenger in a vehicle driven by Kendra Wallace, 20, of Cape Girardeau.

The accident occurred when Wallace's vehicle, eastbound on Route Y, ran off the road and into a ditch. Medlin was taken to St. Francis Medical Center by private vehicle.

In a separate accident on U.S. 61 a half mile south of Old Appleton Wednesday, Allie Taylor, 68, of Perryville suffered minor injuries when the car she was driving struck a cow. Taylor was taken to Southeast Missouri Hospital.
