A Senath man was killed and a Greenville woman injured in separate accidents on Southeast Missouri roads, according to reports from the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

Paul Wimberly, 55, of Senath was injured Thursday afternoon while trying to make a left turn at U.S. 412 at Dunklin County Road 527. His vehicle pulled into the path of a vehicle driven by Robert Bell of Manilla, Ark., and was hit.

Wimberly was pronounced dead at Twin Rivers Hospital.

Also injured in the accident were Bell, 38, and Hailey Bell, 4. Both were taken to Twin Rivers Hospital; Hailey Bell was later transferred to Laboners Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

A Greenville woman was moderately injured Friday when she ran off the right side of the road, lost control and then ran off the left side of the road before overturning. The accident happened on Route D in Wayne County north of Wappapello.

Michelle Byars, 26, was taken by helicopter to St. Francis Medical Center.
