Two one-vehicle accidents in Perry County injured five people, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

Four Anna, Ill., residents were injured in an accident at 5:39 p.m. Friday on Interstate 55, 3 miles south of Route K.

Injured were the driver, Linda Kreyling, 51, and passengers Stephanie Roberts, 22, Christopher Roberts, 24, and Matthew Roberts, no age given. All four received minor injuries. The patrol reported that Kreyling, and Stephanie and Christopher Roberts were transported by ambulance to Perry County Memorial Hospital in Perryville, Mo.

The accident occurred when Kreyling lost control of the northbound car on wet pavement. The car slid off the road and landed in a concrete drainage ditch, the patrol said.

The second accident occurred at 10:26 a.m. Saturday on U.S. 61, just south of Perry County Road 502.

The driver, Judith Lawrence, 52, of Perryville suffered moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Perry County Memorial Hospital, the patrol said. The accident happened when the northbound car began to slide, left the roadway, struck an embankment and overturned.
