Old Town Cape's Tunes at Twilight summer concert series will start the second half of its season Friday with a performance by Idgy Vaughn, according to an Old Town Cape news release.
The free concert takes place at 6:30 p.m. at the Common Pleas Courthouse gazebo. Concerts will continue through Sept. 19.
Information on Vaughn from the news release:
"Vaughn is a native of Texas. Before her singing career started, she worked as a waitress in a truck stop to support her children until a customer won the lottery and loaned Idgy enough money to record her full length debut, "Origin Story". True to her roots, Idgy's music relates to her uncomplicated farm-kid life with a Texamericana mix of folk, country and rock. Other performers for the fall series include Ode Hazlewood, Bruce Zimmerman, The Cantrells, Adrianne, and Brother Henry. "
