Aug. 17 -- Bryan Hayes
Aug. 24 -- David Olney
Aug. 31 -- Doug Rees
Sept. 7 -- Peter Karp
Sept. 14 -- Rod Picott
Tunes at Twilight will return from its midsummer break on Aug. 10 with a free concert at the Common Pleas Courthouse Gazebo by old-school bluesman Doug MacLeod, whose Web site labels him the "torchbearer of the acoustic blues".
MacLeod hails from St. Louis with an act consisting of the man, his acoustic and a nice dose of banter.
Other acts on the second half of the season include Tunes vets Bryan Hayes and Rod Picott and another bluesman, New Jersey's Peter Karp, also a veteran of live performance in Cape.
In addition to the traveling acts this half of the Tunes series brings back the concert showcasing a local performer. This time it's quirky country-infused singer/songwriter Doug Rees on Aug. 31.
Shows on the second half of the Tunes series begin at 6:30 p.m., instead of 7 p.m.
