Tuesday cancellations and closings

The following events, schools and businesses are closed or canceled for Tuesday:

Cairo City Council

Next meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 26.

Cape Girardeau School District will not have classes.

Kelso School District in Scott County will not have classes

Nell Holcomb School District in Cape Girardeau County will not have classes.

Perry County No. 32 school district will not have classes.

Chaffee R-2 School District will be closed all day.

Oran R-3 Schools will be closed.

Southeast Missouri State University is closed.

Metro Business College is closed.

The City of Cape Girardeau will open its offices at 10 a.m. The city government is also asking all "non-essential" business delay opening today.

HealthPoint Fitness in Jackson and HealthPoint Rehabilitation in Cape Girardeau are closed due to weather.

HealthPoint Fitness in Cape Girardeau is closed this morning but may reopen in the afternoon.

Southeast Missouri Hospital's Home Health and Hospice offices are closed.

West Park Lanes in Cape Girardeau is closed.

West Park Mall is closed.

Fitness Plus at Saint Francis Medical Center is closed and will reopen at 5 a.m. Wednesday.

First Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau has canceled all Wednesday activities.

The Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center has canceled Tuesday classes. The Association of Career and Technology Luncheon scheduled for Wednesday has been moved to 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday.

Main Street Pharmacy in Jackson is closed due to lack of power.

The autism program scheduled for tonight at Southeast Missouri State University is canceled.

The Cape Girardeau Public Works Department is running trash and recycling pickup only where roads are passable.

The following Southeast Missouri Hospital events are canceled due to weather: Mended Hearts Club Annual Appreciation Banquet, the Grief Support Group meeting at Grace United Methodist Church, the Share Support Group meeting and the Diabetes Self-Management Support Group meeting.
