The University of Missouri Outreach and Extension Center will start a six-week course for landowners, beginning Feb. 6. The master tree farmer course will be held at the university extension centers in Cape Girardeau, Butler and Wayne counties. The master tree farmer course will be held at the university extension centers in Cape Girardeau, Butler and Wayne counties. The course , which will be limited to 30 people, will run from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. each week.

The program will teach forest stewardship, enhancing wildlife habitats, timber marketing and estate planning.

The program costs $40. Registration deadline is Jan. 26. For information, contact Gerald Bryan at the extension office at 243-3581.
