TRASH PICKUP NOT COMPLETED

Due to inclement weather, the Cape Girardeau Solid Waste Division was unable to complete trash and recycling pickup routes on Friday.

The recycling areas affected are: Kage Hills Drive, Hopper Road at the interstate, all streets between Melrose and Lexington and Woodland Hills Estates.

The solid waste areas affected are: part of West Field Subdivision, Edgewood Road, Northview Drive, Penrod Place, South Kingshighway and Silver Springs Road.

The Public Works Department asks affected residents to leave their trash and recyclables at the curbside. Weather permitting, these routes will be completed over the weekend.
