The Cape Girardeau County Gun Club's new trap and skeet range is now ready for shooters.
The new range, located at the junction of Highways 72 and 34, West of Jackson, will be open to the public each Sunday from 1 to 4 p.m. Club members will be on hand each Sunday to operate the range.
Shooting fee will be $2.50 for each round of 25 clay birds.
The new range is located on the Meier Hunt Club property.
The Cape County Gun Club meets the first Tuesday of each month at the club house, located at the trap and skeet range. anyone interested in attending a meeting or joining the club, may contact one of the officers Fred McGruder, president, 243-5566; Dick Woods, vice president, 243-3170; or Vince Joggerst, treasurer, 334-5364.
