Suzanne Dufek was elected to the Missouri Association of Nurse Anesthetists Board of Directors during the organization's annual meeting in St. Louis.
Dufek will serve as director of Region 3, representing anesthetists of 49 counties in the eastern half of the state, excluding St. Louis.
Dufek is employed by Anesthesia Associates of Cape Girardeau, which serves Southeast Missouri Hospital.

Wendell Mueller has been promoted to credit administrator at Boatmen's Bank of Cape Girardeau.
In his new position, Mueller is responsible for credit analysis of the bank's commercial and commercial real-estate loan portfolio.
Mueller joined Boatmen's as a teller in 1986 while attending Southeast Missouri State University. He joined the bank's loan servicing department full time following graduation. Less than a year later he was promoted to assistant manager of the loan servicing department.
He graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor's degree in business administration.
A native of Farrar, Mo., Mueller is a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, where he serves on the Stewardship Board.
Mueller and his wife, Kim, live in Cape Girardeau. They are parents of a son.

Judi Lyle and Jack Seiner of Gibson Recovery Center have been named to serve on state groups of the Missouri Division of Drug and Alcohol.
Lyle has been appointed to serve on the Regional Advisory Council of the Southeast Region. Sue Giles, director of the division, announced Lyle's appointment. Lyle also serves on the Ethics Committee of the Missouri State Board of Certified Substance Abuse Counselors.
Seiner was elected to serve on the Missouri State Board of Certified Substance Abuse Counselors Inc. He holds the office of secretary and serves on the executive committee.

Michelle Conrad, Randy Sanders and Leah Bailey were top winners in the recent Stage One The Hair School Fall Student Show.
The top three winners in each of three categories were:
Hair styling, 750 hours and up: first, Conrad; second, Tracy Rumsey; and third, Cindy Hacker.
Hair styling, under 705 hours: first, Sanders; second, Lee Ann Blankenship; and third, Rosemary Scott.
Fantasy: first, Bailey; second, Joe Hartley; and third, Melody Rooks.

Joe Sherinski, landscape designer and horticulturist with Accu-Grow in Cape Girardeau, has been elected to membership in the Association of Professional Landscape Designers.
The association is an international organization of professional landscape designers. It has members in 31 states and Canada.
Sherinski, whose membership was accepted by the association's board of directors, joined Accu-Grow in 1983.

JACKSON Mr. and Mrs. R.L. "Rick" Humphrey of Century Propane Co. Inc. of Jackson, have returned from Washington, D.C., where Rick Humphrey represented the Missouri LP Gas Association in meetings on the National Security Act of 1991.
Humphrey, vice chairman of the Missouri LP Gas Association and Legislative Liaison Committee chairman for Missouri, was part of a group attending form Missouri.
Others in the Missouri delegation included Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Willard and Mr. and Mrs. Bob Phillips. Willard, of Jefferson City, is president of the state association. Phillips is president of Heet Gas Co. in Lewistown.
The delegation participated in meetings and met with various legislators concerning the security act.

ST. LOUIS Susan Wilson Pisani, manager of corporate communications at ITT Commercial Finance Corp., St. Louis, has been named to "Who's Who Among American Law Students."
Pisani attends the St. Louis University School of Law and is a 1991-92 staff member on the university's public law review. She will graduate in May.
She joined ITT in 1989 as manager of public relations.
She attended Southeast Missouri State University and graduated from Columbia College in Columbia.

Nancy Giles has completed another year of safe driving with Bootheel Area Rapid Transportation.
Giles and driver Freida Whiteside recently completed their fourth year with BART.
The firm, headquartered at 1707 Mount Auburn Road, provides van shuttle service to the St. Louis airport from Southeast Missouri and Southern Illinois.
"We have seven vans operating out of the Cape Girardeau area and five in the Southern Illinois area," said Ray Duffey, owner of the firm.
