Debbie Leoni, director of Southeast Missouri Hospital's Fitness and Wellness Center, has been certified in systematic stress management by the American Institute for Preventive Medicine.
She recently completed sessions at Chicago that included courses on determining stress levels, identifying causes of stress, organizing time more effectively and reducing stress.
Leoni has been associated with Southeast Hospital more than eight years. She completed her training as a registered nurse at Oakton Community College in Des Plains, Ill.

Ebaugh received notification that she had passed all parts of the exam from CPA Examination Services. She is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State.

McLain has worked as controller at Spartech Resin Exchange 11 years.
McLain, her husband, Randall E. McLain, and children, Shawn, 9, Crystal, 8, and Eric, 5, reside in Cape Girardeau.

Donna Domian, a local investment representative for Edward D. Jones & Co., 1749 Independence Square, recently attended an investment seminar at the firm's St. Louis home office.
Domian, one of only 11 representatives across the nation selected to attend the weeklong workshop, was also honored during a banquet.
"The meeting gave me a unique understanding of trends in the markets and the future direction of our firm," said Domian.

Dr. Steven F. Roth of Scott City recently returned from the annual midwinter meeting of the American Academy of Head, Neck, Facial-Pain and TMJ Ortahopedicas.
Roth was accepted into the academy by its board of directors as an associate member.
The winter seminar, held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Pales, Fla., focused on treatment of headaches and facial pain due to the temporomandibular joint.
Roth is a also a member of the Greater St Louis Craniomandibular Society.

Dr. Jerry Goddard of the St. Francis Medical Center emergency department has been recertified as a diplomat of both the American Board of Emergency Medicine and the American Board of Family Practice. Both medical boards require diplomats to be periodically recertified.

Desma Reno, clinical nurse specialist and gerontology-patient care manager at St. Francis Medical Center, has been appointed by the Missouri League of Nursing Board of Directors to Southeast Missouri unit chairperson.
Reno has assisted the league by serving as a workshop coordinator for continuing education programs in Southeast Missouri for several years.
Reno received an AAS at Three Rivers Community College; BSN at Southeast Missouri State University; MSN at University of Central Arkansas, Conway, and is working on a doctorate in Rehabilitation at Southern Illinois University-Carbondale.
The league is dedicated to developing and improving standards of quality nursing education, services and healthy care delivery. There are nine local units across the state with a membership of 2,500.
