Jerry L. Reppert, president of Reppert Travel Center, with offices at Marion, Ill., and Cape Girardeau, recently completed a 10-day trip to Moscow.
Reppert visited with business and military leaders of Russia, the new republics and several foreign embassies. He also played Russia's only golf course, "Tumba Golf Club Moscow," which was officially opened in June 1990 by Boris Yeltsin. The course is a nine-hole course and includes a dining room and tennis courts. "The course has less than 100 members," said Reppert.
Reppert Travel Center plans a group travel trip to Russia next spring that will include golf.

Virginia Heston, an aerobics instructor for Southeast Missouri Hospital's Fitness and Wellness Center, recently attended the IDEA Educational Conference in Fort Worth, Texas.
Theme of the conference was "Master the Art of Fitness." it featured specialty classes on high-risk exercises, strength training and water fitness.
"Fitness programs can be customized to help people get more out of their workouts and keep them exercising," said Heston, who has five years experience in the fitness industry and is certified by the American Council on Exercise.
She specializes in senior exercise programs and low impact aerobics at the Fitness and Wellness Center.
IDEA is a provider of continuing education for fitness professionals. It has more than 20,000 members who are fitness instructors, directors and trainers in 69 countries.

Marylou McNair, special representative for Franklin Insurance Co. in Cape Girardeau, has earned one of the company's top sales honors.
McNair was named an honorable-mention qualifier for Franklin's Centurion Club, a national honor organization of the firm's most successful sales associations.
Franklin, headquartered in Springfield, Ill., has more than 3,000 sales associations serving approximately a million policyholders in the U.S.

Lonnie G. Hasty, audit manager in the firm of Schott & Van de Ven Certified Public Accountants, recently completed the course, "Accounting and Auditing Conference."
The course, prepared by the Accounting and Auditing Committee of the Missouri Society of Certified Public Accountants, included topics on financial accounting standards, audit sampling, fraud detection and bankruptcy.
The courses are designed to maintain and promote professional competence, increase skills and insure a continued high level of service.

Dr. and Mrs. Jeffrey D. Patton, their daughter, Amy, and their entire dental staff attended a seminar recently in Atlanta, Ga.
Anthony Robbins, author of the books, "Personal Power" and "Awaken the Giant Within," was featured speaker.
Emphasis at the meeting was placed on team building and importance of communication and personal relationships.
