Tracy and Reynolds named to statewide board

Incoming Cape Girardeau County Presiding Commissioner Clint Tracy and Assessor Jerry Reynolds have been named as Cape Girardeau County's representatives on the Missouri Association of Counties board of directors.

As a first-class county, the county is entitled to two positions on the board. One representative must be a commissioner and the second must be an elected official.

Tracy will replace outgoing Presiding Commissioner Gerald Jones. Reynolds has served on the board since the 1990s.

Other business:

* A 2011 contract was approved with Cape County Private Ambulance Service, Inc.

* An indigent burial was approved.
