The first Antique Tractor Adventure is slated for 9 a.m. July 26, beginning at the Fruitland Livestock Sale Barn, 7505 U.S. Highway 61, Fruitland.
In celebration of their 15-year anniversary, the event is sponsored by the River Hills Antique Tractor Club and C106.
Beginning at Fruitland Livestock Sale barn, the 34-mile trek continues on Highway C to Altenburg, stops for lunch at Tric's Restaurant, proceeds along Highway A to Uniontown and ends at the Fruitland Livestock Sale Barn at 4 p.m.
River Hills Antique Tractor Club member Allen Muench said, "This tractor run is open to anyone with a tractor and a true appreciation for them."
Participants must be at least 16 years of age and register by July 15.
There is a registration fee. Tractors must perform at a minimum speed of 8 m.p.h. and be at least 40 years old or older.
Participants will receive a cap, button, and a meal after the parade.
Recognition awards will honor the oldest driver, the oldest tractor and the individual who traveled the furthest to attend. Refreshments will be served.
Those interested in taking part can call Curt Bronenkant at 788-2759 to register.
The club gathers monthly, alternately at Davis Farm Supply and Crown Equipment, to exchange ideas, discuss current projects and ongoing shows occurring nationwide.
