Soloist Paul Tracey, a songwriter, singer, instrumentalist, comic actor and African folklorist, will provide a sample of his talents when he appears with the American Wind Symphony here Thursday and Friday.

He has given numerous stage and television performances, including appearances on ABC comedy specials, The Tonight Show and The Ed Sullivan Show.

Tracey has also written songs for the Muppets and performed his own Broadway musical revue.

He was born in Africa, educated in England and now resides in California. Tracey presents a mixture of songs, stories and demonstrations of exotic musical instruments, guitar, flute, piccolo, kalimba, bass, Celtic harp and bagpipes as accompaniment to his stories and songs.
