CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Ann Swanson, manager of Gulliver's Travel Agency, recently returned from a week's tour of Copper Canyon in northern Mexico.
Swanson also visited El Paso, Texas, and Juarez, Mexico, prior to boarding the Copper Canyon train in Chihuahua.
The six-day train ride covers portions of a canyon system which is four times the size of Arizona's Grand Canyon.
Points of interest included the Tarahumara Indians and their cave dwellings, the fishing village of Topolobampo on the Sea of Cortez, and unusual lava rock formations at San Ignace.
Swanson said the tour should be of particular interest to nature enthusiasts, hiker, and photography buffs.
