After four days (Dec. 26-30), 26 games and 40 hours of listening to fans at the Show Me Center scream, "Get the rebound!" and "That's a foul!" the Southeast Missourian Christmas Tournament is now in the books.

Cape Central has once again claimed the Southeast Missourian Christmas Tournament championship by defeating Jackson. Notre Dame walked into the tournament 1-5 and walked out 4-6 with a third-place plaque. Kelly defeated its rival Scott City for fifth place, and Scott County Central won the consolation final in a district battle against Bell City.

Sixteen teams entered the tournament, and each team had a player who put in a star performance at the Show Me Center. Here is the best performance from each team in the tournament (as seeded).

  • No. 16 Delta: Ryan Jeffries led Delta with 17 points during the Bobcats' 113-48 loss to Cape Central in the opening round on Tuesday. The Bobcats were eliminated on Wednesday after a loss to Oran in the consolation round.
  • No. 15 Bell City: Kale Richardson led Bell City with 14 points in the Cubs' 48-45 win over Leopold in the consolation round on Wednesday. The Cubs went all the way to the consolation final but lost to Scott County Central on Saturday.
  • No. 14 Advance: Advance was led by Braylen Carlton, who scored 21 points in a 90-57 loss to Charleston in the opening round on Tuesday. Advance defeated Chaffee in the consolation round on Wednesday but fell to Bell City in the consolation semifinal round on Thursday.
  • No. 13 Scott County Central: Namarius Banks-Warren scored 31 points in Scott County Central's 66-52 win over Bell City in the consolation final on Saturday. Scott County Central lost to Notre Dame to start the tournament but won three straight games to claim ninth place.
  • No. 12 Meadow Heights: Braden Hays led Meadow Heights with 27 points in a 71-67 loss against Woodland in the opening round on Tuesday. Meadow Heights was eliminated on Wednesday after a loss to Scott County Central in the consolation round on Wednesday.
  • No. 11 Chaffee: Blake Yarbro led Chaffee with 21 points during the Red Devils' loss to Advance in the consolation round on Wednesday. That defeat eliminated the Red Devils after first losing to Kelly in the opening round on Tuesday.
  • No. 10 Leopold: Keegan Deck and Preston Campbell each scored a team-high 15 points for Leopold. Deck led the Wildcats during their loss against Oak Ridge on Tuesday, and Campbell led the team during Leopold's loss to Bell City on Wednesday.
  • No. 9 Oran: Eli Shoemaker led Oran with 20 points in a 59-54 loss to Scott County Central in the consolation semifinals on Thursday. Oran lost to Scott City in the opening round on Tuesday but defeated Leopold on Wednesday.
  • No. 8 Scott City: Jackson Gloth led Scott City with 18 points in the Rams' 76-65 win over Woodland to advance in the fifth-place game on Thursday. Scott City fell to Kelly in the fifth-place game.
  • No. 7 Oak Ridge: Konner Hobeck scored a tournament-high 39 points, including 24 in the fourth quarter to lead Oak Ridge past Leopold in the first round. Oak Ridge fell to Jackson on Wednesday and Kelly on Thursday, but Hobeck was named Tournament MVP.
  • No. 6 Kelly: Ross Peters scored 23 points to lead Kelly past Chaffee in the opening round on Tuesday. The Hawks went on to win fifth place in the tournament.
  • No. 5 Woodland: Korbin Kinder scored 28 points to lead Woodland past Meadow Heights in the opening round. Woodland went on to lose to Notre Dame and Scott City.
  • No. 4 Notre Dame: Kolton Johnson scored 30 points on Tuesday to lead Notre Dame past Scott County Central in the opening round on Tuesday. Notre Dame went on to win third place on Saturday.
  • No. 3 Charleston: Ko'Terrion Owens scored 26 points to lead Charleston past Kelly in the quarterfinal round. Charleston went on to finish in fourth place in the tournament.
  • No. 2 Jackson: Kole Deck scored 32 points to lead Jackson past Charleston 63-58 in the semifinals on Thursday to advance to the championship game for the third consecutive year. Jackson lost to Cape Central in the final round on Saturday.
  • No. 1 Cape Central: Marquell Murray scored 25 points against Scott City in the quarterfinal round on Wednesday. The Tigers went on to win the tournament for the second straight season.
