Ongoing projects:...

* Independence at Sprigg will revert to a four-way stop until this evening. Only the west lane from Sprigg to Frederick will be open for traffic.

* Themis from Frederick to Pacific will close for asphalt overlay. Preparations for the work could cause traffic delays.

* Frederick from Broadway to William will be closed for asphalt overlay. Delays are expected while the road is prepared and curb and gutter work finished.

* Traffic on Good Hope from Frederick to Sprigg will be delayed while the road is prepared for overlay.

* Signal controllers in the downtown area are being changed this week. During the work, intersections will revert to four-way stops without signals. Traffic will be slow, and caution is advised.

* Work is being done on Independence from Sprigg to Water, and motorists should use caution while driving through the construction area.

* The Mississippi River bridge will be one lane from 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesdays through Thursdays for approximately eight weeks.

Ongoing projects:

* Broadway will be closed to eastbound traffic between Clark and Caruthers. Traffic will be detoured to Thilenius. Various other intersections along Broadway from Clark to Perry may be closed periodically for utility construction. Detour routes will be posted.

* Gordonville Road from Edgewood to St. Francis Drive will be closed for the next few weeks to allow for construction of Silver Springs' extension. A new access route to the St. Francis Medical Center is available from the completed portion of the new Silver Springs Road.
