For the benefit of our readers, the Southeast Missourian today printed the entire report of independent counsel Ken Starr to the U.S. House of Representatives. There will be 3,000 copies available in the Cape Girardeau area. The special publication includes the full text of the rebuttal from White House attorneys.
For $3. readers may obtain a copy of the 24-page publication at Rhodes 101 convenience stores in Cape Girardeau, Scott City, Jackson, Chaffee and Fruitland. Copies also are available from 8 a.m. to noon at the Southeast Missourian office at 301 Broadway in Cape Girardeau and the Jackson Signal office at 108 S. Hope in Jackson.
The decision to publish the report separately was based on the explicit sexual content of the report, which we believe is not suitable for the Southeast Missourian. However, we feel anyone who wants to read the report should have access to it in order to form an independent opinion rather than relying on summaries and excerpts. We are fully aware that many of our readers would find the report's content objectionable. Our intent in publishing the report is to make it available only to those want to read it.
