Ken Callis, a licensed psychologist, is moving his office to a new location.
The new office will open July 1 at 2858 Professional Court, just off Independence.
"The new office will offer better parking and more space," said a spokesperson of the office.
Callis has been in private practice one year, in family and children's counseling.
Callis, who has served as president of the Jackson R-2 School Board, has served as a football coach, English teacher and school guidance counselor. He worked nine years in a community mental health center, and most recently was director of the Cottonwood Residential Treatment Center for emotionally disturbed children.
He has a bachelor's degree from the University of Tennessee, a master's degree from Southeast Missouri State University and a Ph.D. from Southern Illinois University.
