The sixth annual VintageNOW Fashion Show is around the corner, and organizers are encouraging the public to buy tickets in advance.
Presented by Pastimes Antiques, the event's proceeds benefit the Safe House for Women.
Runway seats are $40, and general admission seats are $25. Banquet tables with seating for 10 are $450.
Tickets are available online at www.vintagenowfashionshow.com, in person at Pastimes Antiques, 45 N. Main St., or Safe House for Women Thrift Store, 230 N. Spring Ave., both in Cape Girardeau.
The doors will open at 6 p.m. Oct. 24 at the Osage Centre, 1625 N. Kingshighway in Cape Girardeau. This year's show will feature a "Saturday Night Fever" theme, showcasing fashion from the 1970s "with a modern twist."
VintageNOW drew a crowd of more than 900 last year and raised more than $42,000 to provide services to victims of domestic violence through the work of Safe House for Women, according to organizers.
Those with questions about sponsorship or volunteering for the fashion show are encouraged to contact Safe House executive director Jessica Hill at (573) 335-7745 or director@semosafehouse.org. Information and updates about the event are available at www.vintagenowfashionshow.com, www.facebook.com/vintagenowfashionshow or on Twitter at @_vintageNOW_.
