Thursday closings and cancellations

The Schnuck's/KZIM Valentine Party at the Arena Building Thursday has been canceled.

Oak Ridge R-4 school district and early childhood center will be closed.

Cape Girardeau public schools will be closed.

Chaffee R-2 schools will be open Thursday, but buses will only run within city limits.

Nell Holcomb R-4 school district is closed Thursday.

Jackson public schools will be closed Thursday.

Delta R-5 schools are closed Thursday and Friday. Parent teacher conferences Thursday night are canceled.

Southeast Missouri State University will open at 10 a.m. Thursday.

Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center Thursday evening classes are cancelled.

Later this week and next week

A free program on the importance of childhood vaccinations, originally set for Tuesday at Southeast Missouri Hospital, has been rescheduled for Wednesday, April 2 due to the winter storm.

The Delta school FFA breakfast scheduled for Saturday is being moved to March 1. Delta R-5 will be out of school Friday.

Metro Business College is closed Thursday and Friday.

Nell Holcomb R-4 School District is closed Friday. Power is on, but buses cannot get to students living along the rural roads. The school is also closed Monday for Presidents' Day.
