THRIFTWAY DRUGS ADDS SECTION

Thriftway Drugs, located in Jackson, has added a new section to it store.

The store already carries a large selection of durable medical equipment, including wheelchairs, lift chairs and walkers. Now they have included a special section called The Diabetes Shoppe.

The store now carries a wide variety of diabetic foods, skin care products, medical accessories targeted for diabetics and educational materials.

Kelley Pipkin, pharmacist and manager of Thriftway Drugs, wanted her pharmacy to better meet the unique needs of patients with diabetes.

Along with the products, the store will carry, there will be a diabetic informational newsletter mailed to patients and a color catalogue available for shopping.
