The women, believed to be related, were found Wednesday morning but appeared to have been shot Tuesday, said Dauphin County Coroner Graham Hetrick. Their ages and identities were not released.

"It looked almost like assassination type," he said. "It wasn't like somebody went in and just shot up the place. They controlled each individual and shot them."

Police would not say if they had any suspects and refused to give further details. Middletown is about 15 miles southeast of Harrisburg.
