SIKESTON, Mo. -- Three Sikeston residents are in custody, charged with robbing a pizza delivery person.
In a news release Friday, Sikeston Public Safety Director Drew Juden reported the arrest of two suspects, Chris Turner and Xavier Ray, charged with the Dec. 20 robbery of a Pizza Hut delivery person.
Investigators believe that Turner and Ray, along with Gailon Applewhite and a fourth suspect were involved in a Nov. 27 robbery of a Domino's pizza delivery person.
Applewhite, 16, was already in custody on separate charges. He'd previously been certified as an adult.
Turner, 17, of 401 Fletcher is charged with two counts of first-degree robbery and two counts of armed criminal action.
Ray, 18, of 424 Sunset is charged with one count of first-degree robbery and one count of armed criminal action
In this case, Applewhite is charged with one count of first-degree robbery and one count of armed criminal action,
Ray and Turner are in Scott County jail in lieu of bonds of $250,000.
