Three Rivers president becomes MCCA Council chairman

Devin Stephenson, president of Three Rivers College, has been chosen as chairman of the Missouri Community College Association's Presidents/Chancellors Council for 2014-2015. The chairman leads the council and supports MCCA's mission of community college advocacy, a news release said. "I'm both honored and humbled by my selection as chairman of the council, and ready to continue the excellent work that MCCA does across our state," Stephenson said. "Community colleges continue to fuel and drive the engine of economic advancement for our state. Both MCCA and the Presidents/Chancellors Council have been invaluable forces for advocacy and awareness-building about the work that we do every day, across Missouri." Stephenson has been president of Three Rivers since 2009.
