Three men arrested for allegedly stealing tools

BENTON, Mo. -- Three Sikeston, Mo., men were arrested Wednesday on suspicion of stealing tools and a four-wheeler from Beggs Farm. Casey D. Burton, 17; Andrew C. Gardner, 19; and Joseph R. Foster, 18, were all charged with burglary and stealing in the Monday heist near Blodgett, Mo., according to a news release from the Scott County Sheriff's Department. All three defendants had bond set at $20,000.

Grampa Woo weekend excursions canceled

The Grampa Woo excursion yacht's cruises scheduled for the Cape Girardeau area Friday and Saturday have been canceled. Cape Girardeau Convention and Visitors Bureau director Chuck Martin said the cancellation is due to the lack of availability of the docking platform usually supplied for the yacht's Cape Girardeau cruises. Martin said ticket holders have received refunds.
