DEXTER, Mo. -- Three juveniles have been arrested for a rash of vandalism that occurred last week near downtown Dexter.
According to Dexter Police Detective Lt. Trevor Pulley, the three young males were arrested Tuesday and were transported to the Stoddard County Juvenile Detention Center in Bloomfield, Mo., where they are currently being held.
Pulley said that during the overnight hours of Feb. 12, the three young men used markers to deface several properties downtown, including private homes and residences.
Obscene remarks were also written on two doors at the Rivers of Life Ministries Church, as well as graffiti being written on the church's sign and sidewalk.
The youths also tried to write on the church's van, however, ice accumulation on the van prevented them from writing directly on the vehicle's paint.
The First Baptist Church was also allegedly vandalized by the juvenile suspects, as well as the accounting firm Riley, Stubbs and Cato, LLC, CPA.
