Three injured in Tuesday afternoon crash near Oran

ORAN, Mo. -- An Oran man received serious injuries and a Sikeston, Mo., woman and teenager received moderate injuries in a Tuesday afternoon crash near Oran, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

The patrol reported that Charles E. Sallee, 42, of Oran was seriously injured when his 1999 Ford Escort was traveling northbound on Highway 77, a quarter-mile east of Oran, and turned into the path of a 2005 Chrysler driven by Karen E. Brookman, 46, of Sikeston. Brookman's passenger was 14-year-old Victoria L.

All three were transported by ambulance to Saint Francis Medical Center.
