A Glenallen, Mo., woman and Fredericktown, Mo., woman were injured in a collision in Madison County Monday, and a single-vehicle crash left a Cape Girardeau man injured as well.
Diane Campbell, 21, of Glenallen was taken to Madison County Medical Center after an accident at 10:30 a.m. Monday on U.S. 67 at Millcreek in Madison County. Also sustaining injuries in the accident was the other driver, Ruth Propst, 75, of Fredericktown.
According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, the collision occurred when Propst pulled into the path of Campbell's vehicle.
In the other accident, Robert Hopen, 46, of Cape Girardeau was taken to Southeast Missouri Hospital after a single-vehicle accident on County Road 657, two miles north of Cape Girardeau. The accident occurred at 11:15 a.m.
According to the Highway Patrol, Hopen's vehicle ran off the road and struck a utility pole.
