The first Hedge-Crump family reunion since the early 1980s was held Aug. 25 at Cape County Park North.
Sixty-one guests attended from Advance, Arnold, Burfordville, Cape Girardeau, Chaffee, DeSoto, Fenton, Fruitland, Gordonville, Jackson, St. Louis, Scott City, Sikeston, Sullivan, Whitewater; Memphis and Trenton, Tenn.
Trophies were presented to Geneva Dirden and Ola Bartels for having the most direct descendants present, which was six each.
Trophies were also given to the youngest, Shelby Ray, son of Kieth and Kim Kight, and to Alisa Strong and Mary Booker of Memphis, who traveled the farthest.

JACKSON- A Rampley-Morris-Strauser Reunion will be Sept. 29 at ll a.m. at Jackson Park Shelter No. Six.
Bring a dish for the potluck dinner, items for the silent auction and old family photos. There will be games for the adults and children.
