KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) -- The death toll in a Kansas City house fire has risen to three.
Fire Department spokesman Joe Vitale said Friday that a man and woman found unconscious inside the eastside home have died. One woman was found dead in the living room Thursday night and the man and woman were unconscious in separate bedrooms.
Vitale said the victims, who have not been identified, were in their 80s, 30s and 20s. Neighbors said an elderly woman and adult grandson lived in the home.
The cause of the blaze has not been determined. The flames were contained mostly to the living room.
