THREE-DAY STAR TREK EVENT SET FOR HERE

A three-day Star Trek Fan Convention will be held in Cape Girardeau June 18-20 at the Holiday Inn Convention Center.

Actor Mark Lenard, who appears as Sarek in "Star Trek," will appear. Also scheduled for appearances are Robin Curtis, Saavik from the "Star Trek" movies; M.S. Murdock, author; Keith Birdsong, artist guest of honor; Jean Kluge, artist and fan guest of honor; and Stan Nevins from the National Space Society.

CINETECH, a makeup and costuming company, will also be part of the convention.

Numerous events are planned throughout the course of Continuum '93, including a charity auction to benefit the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

Other activities include a masquerade ball, a costume contest, a Friday night dance, a contributors' reception, video rooms, gaming, a dealers' room and an art show.

Persons wishing to attend are encouraged to register early to obtain pre-registration discounts.
