Three people have been arrested on suspicion of vandalizing mailboxes in Perryville, Mo., in March, according to the Perry County Sheriff's Department. They are accused of driving by 20 mailboxes March 16 and using a "cylindrical object" to smash the boxes. They are also suspected of vandalizing a backhoe parked near Burlington Northern Railroad property on Route E. Those arrested were Susanna M. Dobbelare, 19, Dustin M. Brace, 21, and Jeremy J. Difani, 23. All three are of Perryville. Dobbelare, Brace and Difani are charged with second-degree property damage, a misdemeanor. They could face a penalty of up to six months in jail and/or a fine up to $500.
