Three area students are among 30 chosen from more than 230 applicants to participate in the 1994 Missouri Agribusiness Academy. The academy acquaints students with agribusiness leaders and operations.

Chosen were Kadin Boardman and Annette Ruesler, both of Jackson, and Crystal Rhodes of Marble Hill.

Boardman, a sophomore at Jackson High School, is the son of J. Mark and Donna B. Boardman. Ruesler, also a sophomore at Jackson High School, is the daughter of Keith and Marie Ruesler. Rhodes, a sophomore at Woodland High School, is the daughter of Obed and Wanda Rhodes.

They will tour Missouri agribusinesses and meet leaders in agriculture, government and education as part of the academy activities. The academy is sponsored by the Missouri Department of Agriculture.
