Jill Suzanne Gosnell of Cape Girardeau graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in geological engineering. Brian R. Nettleton of Cape Girardeau graduated cum laude with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering.

Summa cum laude, the highest honor, is awarded to students who have earned a cumulative grade-point average of 3.8 or above. Cum Laude indicates a grade-point average of 3.2 to 3.49.
