CAPE GIRARDEAU -- Works by three area artists will be included in the "Life in Missouri 1991" exhibit, a collection of works by Missouri women artists.
The exhibit will run March 1-29 at St. Louis University.
Displaying photographs in the exhibit are Cape Girardeau artists Jan Chamberlain and Martha McBride. Displaying an oil painting is Margaret Sorell of Poplar Bluff.
The exhibition was juried by Judie Lind, director of the Margaret Harwell Museum in Poplar Bluff. It is sponsored by the St. Louis branch of the American Association of University Women and is held in conjunction with Women's History Month in March.
An opening reception will be Saturday from 5-7 p.m. The gallery is open Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. and on Saturday and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
